Yadadri-Bhongir: Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple at Yadadri teemed with devotees on Sunday.
As Sunday was the last holiday in the auspicious Shravana masam, a huge number of devotees thronged Yadadri temple (Balalayam) and had darshan of Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple. Devotees strongly believe that visiting temples during Shravana masam was auspicious and would ensure their well-being. The queue lines were packed with the devotees since the early morning of Sunday. It took nearly six hours for the devotees to have darshan at the temple.
Serpentine queue lines of devotees also appeared at the prasadam counters. The premises on Yadadri hillshrine was also packed with the devotees. A large number of couples also participated in the performance of Sri Satyanarayana Swamy Vrathams on the hillshrine.
In view of the rush of the devotees, personal vehicles were not allowed onto the hill shrine by the temple security personnel. After the car parking down the hill shrine was packed with the cars, some devotees parked their vehicles on the ghat road of temple town on Peddagutta. Traffic police were also swung into action and controlled the vehicles at the check post to avoid traffic jams.
