Yadadri witnesses huge rush of devotees on Tholi Ekadashi
The temple authorities have taken up measures to ensure COVID norms of physical distancing, wearing masks and hand sanitisation by the devotees at the temple.
Yadadri-Bhongir: Yadadri Sri Lakshminarsimha Swamy temple was teemed with devotees on the occasion of auspicious Tholi Ekadashi on Tuesday.
Laksha pushparchana (pooja with one lakh flowers) was performed to the presiding deity by temple priests at Balalayam as per the tradition. In addition to the daily puja programme, Sudarshana Narasimha Homam was conducted at Balalayam by the temple priests and Vedic pandits.
The queue line was also packed with devotees from the early morning on the day. It took one hour for the devotees to have darshan at Balalayam. The temple authorities have taken up measures to ensure COVID norms of physical distancing, wearing masks and hand sanitisation by the devotees at the temple.
Huge number of devotees thronged to the temple to participate in special puja programmes performed on the occasion of auspicious day.
The ancient Erakeshwara Swamy and Chenna Keshava Swamy temples, which belongs to Kakateeya dynasty, located at Pillalamarri village in Suryapet district were also witnessed huge rush of the devotees. Abhisekhams were performed to Shiva Lingam at the temples by the devotees.
In Nalgonda district, ancient temples Chaya Someshwaralayam and Pacchala Someshwaralayam also attracted a huge number of devotees on the auspicious day.
