Yashoda Hospitals hosts International Head & Neck Oncology Summit 2026; Launches AI clinic
Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City, hosted the Head & Neck Oncology Summit-2026, drawing over 500 oncology experts worldwide. The event marked the launch of an AI-based Head & Neck Oncology Clinic aimed at early detection and personalised treatment of cancer through genetic and molecular profiling.

Hyderabad: Over 500 oncology experts from across the world participated in the international ‘Head & Neck Oncology Summit-2026’ organised by the Oncology Department of Yashoda Hospitals, Hitec City and inaugurated by Cyberabad Police Commissioner Dr. M. Ramesh.
On the occasion, an AI-based Head & Neck Oncology Clinic was launched at Yashoda Hospitals – Hitec City for highly accurate and early detection of head and neck cancer.
This clinic focuses on providing personalized treatment by analyzing the patient’s genetic and molecular profile, offering an AI-based treatment plan that includes robotic surgery, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy.
Dr. GS Rao, Managing Director of Yashoda Hospitals, said the clinic represents a significant milestone in personalized cancer care and Dr. M. Ramesh said, “Head and neck cancers account for approximately 30% of all cancer cases in India, with 2,25,000 new cases and 1,25,000 deaths annually.”
Dr. Chinababu Sunkavalli, Clinical Director & Robotic Surgical Oncologist at Yashoda Hospitals-Hitec City, said, “This AI-based Head & Neck Oncology Clinic will be in line with the world’s best practices in oncology.”
Renowned faculty members Dr. Jatin P. Shah and Dr. Anil K. D’Cruz, along with others from around the world participated in the summit.
