Karimnagar: International Yoga Day was celebrated on a grand scale across the erstwhile Karimnagar district on Saturday, with public representatives, officials, political leaders and citizens enthusiastically participating in yoga sessions.
Union Minister of State for Home, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, took part in the celebrations held at Ambedkar Stadium in Karimnagar.
Police Commissioners Gaush Alam (Karimnagar) and Ambar Kishore Jha (Ramagundam) also participated in the events, performing yoga along with staff at their respective offices.
