“After being engaged in a 9 am to 7 pm job that failed to satisfy my creative spirit, I discovered my passion for writing short stories and film scripts at the age of 12. I embarked on pursuing my true calling of writing. I could publish the two books at this young age,” Vasu beams as he explains the reason behind his entry into literature to ‘Telangana Today.’

Vasu, who pursued BA Literature through distance mode of learning, says he used to jot down his thoughts whenever possible and convert them into books, while discharging duties. He recalled that he embarked on penning his maiden work after being inspired by the bravery of field staff, especially women employees, in protecting the tiger in the district.

The young writer recounted that he authored the second book to bring about positive changes in the mindsets of youngsters who are depressed after being rejected by girls. He stated that he incorporated the essence of certain hymns from Bhagavad Gita in order to motivate the youngsters and to regain confidence in life.

According to the author, ‘We Were Never Meant to Be’, is a love story that shows how some things are never meant for us, no matter how perfect they seem. It is going to be published in a couple of weeks. It’s a story of a guy who falls in love with a girl for a decade and ends up with nothing. Vasu has got support from publishers who brought out the two books and e-commerce platform Amazon which agreed to sell his works.

The son of a forest beat officer disclosed that his favourite author was famous Russian-American novelist, Ayn Rand who penned ‘The Fountainhead’. He shared that he was planning to pen more books in the short future even while nurturing an ambition to become a civil servant.
