Hyderabad: A young woman approached Medchal police alleging that she was abused and beaten by a group of unidentified youngsters in Medchal on the city outskirts on Thursday.

As per available information, the woman reportedly along with her brother had gone to a Dhabha at Somaram village. There, a group of youngsters reportedly from Banda Mailaram picked up an argument with her on a trivial matter.
Later, they abused and attacked her with iron rods and steel spoons. She suffered injuries and was shifted to the hospital.
Based on the complaint, the Medchal police have booked a case and launched search for the assaulters.
