A Bhadohi woman has accused her husband of selling her jewellery, encashing her insurance policy, assaulting her, and pronouncing ‘triple talaq’ to expel her from their home. Police have filed a case under BNS and the Muslim Women’s Protection Act.

A 35-year-old woman was allegedly raped and robbed aboard the Santragachi Special Express between Guntur and Peddakurapadu on Monday night. Police have registered a case and launched a manhunt for the accused, who fled after jumping off the train.
