Youngster stabbed by friend in Rein Bazaar

According to police, Abdul Aleem and Saif Ali recently had a fight over a trivial issue and Aleem bore grudge against Ali over it

Hyderabad: A youngster was attacked by his friend at Rein Bazaar in the old city here on Wednesday. A previous enmity is suspected to be the reason, police said.

According to police, Abdul Aleem and Saif Ali recently had a fight over a trivial issue and Aleem bore grudge against Ali over it. Both were allegedly addicted to alcohol and were having frequent fights for the past some days.

Officials said, on Wednesday afternoon Aleem met Ali to discuss about the matter and ended up arguing following which he stabbed the latter multiple times. An injured Ali was rushed to the Osmania General Hospital for treatment and his condition is said to be stable.

Rein Bazaar police inspector P. Anjaneyulu and other senior officials from the old city visited the spot and examined.
