YTPS Stage I chief engineer suspended over negligence, supervisory lapses

TGGENCO has suspended Yadadri Thermal Power Station Stage I Chief Engineer B. Suresh for alleged negligence and supervisory lapses. The action was ordered by CMD S. Harish pending a departmental enquiry.

Hyderabad: The Yadadri Thermal Power Station (YTPS) – Stage I Chief Engineer B Suresh has been placed under suspension for negligence of duty and lapses in supervision, pending a departmental enquiry.

TGGENCO Chairman and Managing Director S Harish issued orders to this effect on Wednesday. During the last 15 days, the Special Chief Secretary, Energy department, has been monitoring the power generation of YTPS – I, Damaracherla. However, the Chief Engineer B Suresh has been found negligent in discharging his duties and was responsible for supervisory lapses, the order said. The suspension takes immediate effect.
