Irrigation expert V Prakash rebutted Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s remarks on Yadadri Thermal Power Station, defending its location, supercritical technology, G9-grade coal arrangements and land use. He alleged the Chief Minister omitted details about coal linkages and supply constraints.

Telangana’s thermal power stations reportedly have coal stocks for barely nine days against a 21-day requirement. Yadadri has supplies for five days, while questions persist over coal procurement, stock management, alternative supplies and the government’s preparedness to maintain power generation.
