Hyderabad: Food delivery app Zomato had a special message for its customers on the occasion of Diwali. Remembering the loved ones we all lost during the second wave of Covid-19, Zomato wrote on Instagram, “To the homes that didn’t put up lights this year, where sweets have lost their taste for all… where the loss suffered at the start of the year is now making every occasion feel small… we know that it may be too soon to be happy, but we hope that you find happiness again soon.”

The touching post went viral on social media platforms with netizens appreciating Zomato for helping grieving families find comfort during festive times. “This is the best Diwali wish any brand has written in recent times and most heartfelt,” wrote an Instagram user.

“Thank you! I still put up lights and diya for mom and dad in heaven. It will brighten their smile I am sure,” added an Instagram user.

Even T’town celebrities like Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raashii Khanna reshared the heart-warming message on their social media handles. The post has more than 563k likes on Instagram.
