10-day camp underway at EME Sailing Club in Hyderabad
A total of 62 participants from the age of eight years, including 40 girls, are participating in the camp, which will cover basic and advance level of training
Hyderabad: The EME Sailing Association of the Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) is conducting a 10-day YAI Certification Coaching Camp at the EME Sailing Club at Hussain Sagar. The camp, which began on Monday will be on till March 30.
A total of 62 participants from the age of eight years, including 40 girls, are participating in the camp, which will cover basic and advance level of training and will provide three levels of certificates.
The initiative was taken up with an aim to promote the sport of sailing and to give a feel of the sport to the new generation, officials said in a press release, adding that the EME Sailing Association has always been involved in promoting the sports of sailing amongst youth of Telangana.
Recently, the EME Sailing Association had imparted training to four youths from Telangana, who will be participating in the upcoming National Sailing Championships.
