Hyderabad: Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC) Chairman G Balamallu said 152 industrial parks were developed in 28,000 acres across the State during the last seven years.
Industrialisation, which was confined to Hyderabad in the past, was now being extended to different areas of the State. Under this initiative, industrial parks and food parks were being set up in an area ranging from 15 acres to 2500 acres in each district, he said.
The TSIIC Chairman along with VC and MD Venkat Narasimha Reddy on Friday released the TSIIC 2022 diary.
Addressing on the occasion, the TSIIC Chairman said the corporation had identified over 1.45 lakh acres across the State, which was unused or under-utilized. These lands were being maintained as TSIIC land bank and through provision of basic amenities, the lands were being developed to suit industry requirements and set up new industrial parks, he said.
The TSIIC was developing mega industrial parks under Public Private Partnership mode. Pharma City, NIMZ at Zaheerabad and Kakatiya Mega Textile Park were classified in this category, he informed.
Till date over Rs.33,447 crore investments were made in the 3,197 units at different industrial parks across the State, he said, adding these measures facilitated in generation of 3.12 lakh jobs.
To extend better services to industrialists, number of zones under TSIIC limits were increased from seven to nine, besides to ensure transparency in the Corporation services, online system was introduced, he added.
