Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Cybercrime police have booked cases against 16 people for watching child pornography.

The case was booked following information provided by the National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) to the Telangana State Crime Investigation Department.

“Some international agencies who monitor sexual abuse of children alerted the NCRB about some persons from the country browsing child pornography. The NCRB tracked down the IP addresses and 16 of them are from the city. The details were forwarded to us and a case has been booked,” an official said, adding that they were trying to identify and locate the persons.
