36-year-old man electrocuted during Dasara celebrations in Jagtial

According to villagers, the deceased, Venkatesh, accidentally came in contact with live electric wires and sustained severe injuries

Jagtial: A 36-year-old man was electrocuted during the Dasara celebrations held in Ragojipet of Bheemaram mandal on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Arisella Venkatesh.

According to the villagers, as part of the celebrations, an effigy of Ravana was set on fire. During this, Venkatesh accidentally came in contact with live electric wires connected to a transformer located near the spot and sustained severe injuries.

Villagers immediately shifted him to the Jagtial government hospital where he was declared brought dead.
