4 die in bus accident on Suryapet-Khammam highway

The victims, who were migrant workers, were on their way to Hyderabad from Chhattisgarh

Hyderabad: Four persons, including two women, died and many others were injured when a bus in which they were travelling hit a stationary lorry on the Suryapet-Khammam highway.

The accident occurred in the early hours of Friday.

According to reports reaching here, the horrific accident took place near Ailapur village in the Chivvemla mandal of the district.

The bus passengers were migrant workers coming to Hyderabad to earn their livelihood from Chattisgarh.

Reports said the truck loaded with sand was parked on the roadside.

The injured were shifted to nearby hospital.
