Aged couple commits suicide in Kothagudem

Kothagudem: An elderly couple has allegedly committed suicide at Patwarigudem in Dammapet mandal in the district.
The couple, G Nagabhushanam (78) and D Adilakshmi (70) hanged themselves to the ceiling fan at their residence on Friday late night hours. A milkman found them hanging from the ceiling fan and informed their son, Srinivas Rao, who lives in a seperate house in the village.
The couple was said to be under mental stress owing to their advanced age and ailments that troubled them. The deceased, survived by four sons, were living alone at the village. Based on the complaint by Srinivas Rao, a case was registered and took up investigation, Sub-Inspector of Police, Varun Prasad said.
