Akshaye Khanna has been added to the list of actors this time, and the audience would be thrilled to see his role in the stirred-up thriller drama. The shoot of ‘Drishyam 2’ is expected to wrap up this week in Hyderabad.
The Abhishek Pathak directorial is ready to hit the box office and actor Tabu has been actively updating titbits about the shooting on her Instagram handle. She posted pictures of the clapper and one with Akshaye Khanna on her social media.
Tabu has been a star and is one of the few actors of the ’90s who is doing back-to-back movies. Her astounding performance in the recently released ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’ garnered a lot of praise.
‘Drishyam’ revolved around a father (Ajay Devgn) who uses his abundant knowledge of cinema to try and save his family from a mishap they experienced. The mishap is related to the son of an IPS officer (Tabu), who is furious upon learning about it. The clever investigation of the cops and the escape of the protagonist are what kept the audience glued to the screens in this edge-of-the-seat thriller. The sequel, too, seems promising with its thrills intact, while retaining the suspense element of the first part.
