Hyderabad: Railway job aspirants found indulging in unlawful activities may face lifetime debarment from obtaining Railway job, cautioned the Railway Ministry.
A Ministry of Railways public notice issued here by the South Central Railway (SCR) on Wednesday said it was noticed that aspirants of railway jobs were found indulging in vandalism/unlawful activities like protesting on railway tracks, disruption of train operations, damaging railway properties etc. The notice said that such ‘misguided activities are highest level of indiscipline rendering such aspirants unsuitable for railways/government jobs’.
Videos will be examined with the help of specialised agencies and candidates/aspirants found indulging in unlawful activities will be liable for police action as well as lifetime debarment from obtaining railway job, the notice cautioned. The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) are committed to conduct fair and transparent recruitment process maintaining highest standards of integrity, it said.
Meanwhile, another statement said a high power committee has been formed to look into the concerns and doubts raised by candidates in regard to the results of 1st Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) of Centralized Employment Notification CEN 01/2019 of Non Technical Popular categories (NTPC) issued by Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on 14-15th January.
Candidates can lodge their concerns and suggestions to the committee at the email id:rrbcommittee@railnet.gov.in upto February 16. The committee after examining these concerns will submit their recommendations by March 4.
