Sangareddy: MLA Andole Chanti Kranthi Kiran has lashed at the union government for assuring to provide employment to just 60 lakhs youth in the coming days when there were 30 crore people in need of employment in the country. In a statement on Tuesday when the union Government placed a budget for the year 2022-23 in Lok Sabha, the MLA said the State government got a raw deal in the budget allocations as the union government has ignored the requests of the Telangana government. Saying that the union government failed to keep the Andhra Pradesh reorganisation promises made to Telangana, Kranthi Kiran said the Centre failed to release the arrears.
While the Telangana government was constantly working for the empowerment of Dalits by coming up with schemes such as Dalit Bandhu, he said that the Centre had failed to support such schemes as they failed to allocate any funds for the scheme. Kranthi Kiran said that Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has failed to allocate due budget allocations to SCs, STs, BCs and Minorities in the budget. As Sitharaman termed her budget as blueprint for the development of next 25 years, the Andole MLA has said that it will be dumped like former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s vision-2020.
