Animal Husbandry dept got priority after State formation: Talasani
After formation of Telangana State, the department was getting more recognition, he said, adding that the main objective of the department was to ensure proper treatment to animals.
Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has allocated more funds for the Animal Husbandry department and facilitated implementation of various activities in the State, Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said on Thursday.
After formation of Telangana State, the department was getting more recognition, he said, adding that the main objective of the department was to ensure proper treatment to animals.
The State government also passed orders extending the contract period of 75 veterinary doctors to one more year, the Minister said, adding that the Central government had appreciated various schemes introduced by the department.
He thanked the Chief Minister for giving priority to the department and allocating more funds to it.
