Anti-Corruption Bureau reward mela honours high-performing officers
Telangana ACB registered 78 cases from October to December 2025, the highest in 15 years. A reward mela recognised high-performing officers, while DG Charu Sinha emphasised the importance of professional, fair, and thorough investigations supported by continuous capacity building.

Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) Telangana, in the past three months, has registered 78 cases and enquiries, the highest in the last 15 years, corresponding to the same period.
The ACB had booked 39 RCT cases, 2 RCA cases, 6 RCO cases and 31 SC cases during the last quarter months of October, November and December in 2025.
To felicitate high-performing officers and investigative teams, the ACB higher-ups also conducted a reward mela.
Director General ACB, Charu Sinha, highlighted that the number of cases booked during the last quarter of 2025 stands as the highest recorded for the corresponding period in the last fourteen years, marking a significant milestone in the bureau’s ongoing fight against corruption.
The DG, who congratulated all the awardees and teams for their hard work, underlined that the primary focus must remain on professional, fair, and thorough investigation, supported by continuous capacity building.
