Hyderabad: Apple has delivered the big updates in Logic Pro for Mac and iPad, putting down very potent tools that will help create artists to rethink music production and beat making. A lot is happening in the update, starting from Stem Splitter gaining lots of enhancements now with greater audio fidelity to splitting not only vocals and drums but also guitar and piano from any track. Producers are hence at will to choose acapella or instrumental versions, while the new submix feature awards them the freedom of custom audio export for remixes and edits.
Another such moment lost never again with Flashback Capture stands. Performing retrieval of a performance even if the user forgot to capture it — that is, it captures both MIDI and Audio Data. Artists may therefore use the Cycle mode to automatically organize multiple takes into a convenient folder, thereby simplifying the creative process.
Apple is also inspiring content creators by delivering fresh content. Dancefloor Rush is the latest sound pack for Mac and iPad, offering over 400 drum-and-bass loops, punchy kits, and a custom Live Loops grid. Two other sound packs, Magnetic Imperctions and Tosin Abasi, bring the warmth of analog and progressive metal guitar riffs to Mac users.
Apple has also taken Learn MIDI to iPad, opening the gates for the easiest assignment of hardware knobs, faders, and buttons to in-app controls. Musicians can personalize their workflows with huge visual feedback in real-time.
With these updates, Logic Pro is set to become an even greater DAW for more casual beat makers and those who work as professionals in the industry.
