Around 300 street dogs killed in Telangana’s Pegadapalli

Around 300 street dogs were allegedly killed by administering poisonous injections in Pegadapalli mandals. The incident came to light after animal rights activists lodged a complaint, following which police registered an FIR and began an investigation against local officials

Jagtial: About 300 stray dogs were allegedly killed by administering poisonous injections in Pegadapalli mandal. Though the incident occurred on January 22, it came to light later following a complaint by animal rights activists.

Cruelty prevention assistant Mudavath Preethi of the Stray Animal Foundation of India lodged a complaint with Pegadapalli police on January 23.
