Karimnagar: An Assistant Professor with the Government Degree College for Women in Gajwel of Siddipet district, Prasanna Harikrishna, has decided to resign from his post to contest in the next Karimnagar graduates constituency MLC polls.

Announcing this to media persons here on Sunday, Harikrishna said that in order to serve the people, he had decided to sacrifice his 19 years of service.


Informing that he would tender his resignation on Monday, he said that after resigning, he would take out a rally from Renikunta toll plaza to Karimnagar town where he would address a meeting at Padmanayaka function hall.

Intellectuals, graduates, unemployed youth, employees and teachers would take part in the meeting.
