Award distribution ceremony held for TES-44 Cadets at MCEME in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The award distribution ceremony for Officer Cadets of Technical Entry Scheme-44 undergoing training at Cadets Training Wing, Military College of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers, was conducted on Wednesday post successful completion of their military training.
The event marks a significant milestone for these young cadets as they move forward for their commissioning in the Indian Army.
The ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General Neeraj Varshney, Commandant MCEME and Colonel Commandant of Corps of Electronics and Mechanical Engineers (EME). The General Officer felicitated the meritorious cadets, recognizing their hard work and dedication in both academic and military disciplines.
Cadets who have demonstrated excellence in sports and training were awarded medals and distinctions, a testament to their skill, discipline and commitment, a press release said.
Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney encouraged the young cadets to embark on their careers with discipline, hard work and an unwavering commitment to the nation.
He emphasized the values and responsibilities that come with joining the ranks of the Indian Army, urging the cadets to uphold the Army’s legacy of service before self and follow the motto of ‘Karm Hi Dharm’.
Wing Cadet Captain Shivraj Pradip More was awarded with GOC-in-C, ARTRAC Gold Medal on being adjudged as best in the course whereas Wing Cadet Adjutant Eshan Luthra and Platoon Cadet Captain Yash Kumar were awarded with GOC-in-C, ARTRAC Silver Medal and GOC-in-C, ARTRAC Bronze Medal respectively.
Karna Platoon was adjudged as best platoon for the Autumn term 2024 and was presented with the GOC-in-C ARTRAC Banner.
