Hyderabad: Government Whip Balka Suman came down heavily on BJP State president Bandi Sanjay and condemned his allegations against Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and the TRS government in the State. He advised Sanjay to be careful with his words while speaking about the Chief Minister and the TRS government or be ready to face the consequences.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Tuesday, Suman said Sanjay, instead of spreading false propaganda, should prove his commitment towards the workers of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) and the State. He pointed out that the Telangana Assembly had passed a resolution in June 2014 seeking income tax exemption for Singareni workers and sent it to the Centre for approval.

“Till date, the Central government has not responded. Instead of getting things done under the purview of the BJP-ruled Union government, the BJP State leaders have got accustomed to blame the TRS government in the State and trying to mislead the people,” he said.

Making light of Sanjay’s warning that he will seek CBI investigations into irregularities in the SCCL, Suman said the TRS cannot be threatened with such warnings as the State government was committed to people’s welfare. “Sanjay can look for an agency bigger than CBI to probe into the alleged irregularities in Singareni Company,” he said, and pointed out that the State government had not only given 14,000 jobs, but also increased the workers’ share in company profits to 28 per cent.
