Mancherial: Government Whip Balka Suman said that he would strive for growth of the party by coordinating with local legislators and leaders of the party. He thanked Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for appointing him as district president of the TRS, on Wednesday. Stating that the party would reward those who work hard for its growth, Suman reiterated that the TRS would become an invincible force in the district, which always backed the Telangana movement. He cited that his experience as the party’s president for Peddapalli district would come in handy for him in helming it.

The government whip informed that his maiden objective was to strengthen from booth-level to district. Every activist would be protected by the party. Every member who strives hard for the development of the outfit would be recognized. A special focus is going to be laid on strengthening youth and women’s wings soon. Suman stressed the need to intensify publicity of welfare schemes and developmental programmes being taken by the government. Accordingly, youngsters would be trained. He promised to resolve major challenges of the district by bringing them to the notice of the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar. Committees would be formed and coordinating meetings were going to be held at the earliest.

This Chennur legislator claimed that only the TRS had emerged as a major force, while Opposition parties were trying to protect their existence by spreading false messages and making baseless allegations against the government. He stated that the leaders of the parties who assumed top positions had done nothing for the district, but the district was undergoing growth with the advent of TRS.

Cadres of the party erupted into celebrations following the appointment of Suman as the chief of the party of Mancherial district. They burst crackers and danced to drum beats in Chennur, Kotapalli, Dandepalli, Vemanapalli, Bheemaram, Jaipur, Mandamarri mandal centres and many other parts of the district and Mancherial district headquarters. Meanwhile, legislators Jogu Ramanna, Koneru Konappa and G Vittal Reddy expressed gratitude to Chandrasekhar Rao for appointing them as the party’s heads of Adilabad, Kumram Bheem Asifabad and Nirmal districts, respectively. Their followers and supporters celebrated this development by bursting crackers and distributing sweets among themselves to mark the occasion.
