Hyderabad: It’s been full of challenges and breakthroughs — from being crowned as Miss India to becoming a successful actor.
Ruhi Singh says it’s not about the destination, but its actually about the journey.
“We’re all human beings. We’re all growing. I’ve grown a lot in showbizz. ‘Miss India’ definitely provided a solid platform. My life story has been more about putting in hard work and never-give-up attitude,” she says.
Both her latest web series ‘Chakravyuh’ and ‘Runaway Lugai’ are trending on the chart.
“My experience with the cast in ‘Runaway Lugai’ was always memorable. Sanjay mishra, Naveen Kasturia, Pankaj Jha have so many such amazing experiences working with. Validation as an actor, because being selected and doing such a project is any actor’s dream.,” says Ruhi.
That way, it’s very gratifying. “Speaking a Bihari dialect, I didn’t have time to train for it. But you know, I was always called parrot. I am someone who catches dialects and languages very quickly.,” she says.
“I would like to do more work down South. The regional film industries have beautiful and intelligent films — the grandeur and glossy, I like southern films and culture,” she says.
Spiritually inclined
Ruhi loves reading books and watching more content related to meditation and spiritual science.
“Quality time with my family is keeping me in high spirits. I’ve been on this path for many years now. I’ve been exploring various kinds of meditation. And I still continue to do so. My search is on. I am also doing online programmes on mental health and mind value. There is a lot of chaos outside. It’s very important to find ourselves centred during these tomes,” says Ruhi.
