The Minister said the people of the constituency do not believe the false claims of Congress leaders during their elections campaign.
Nalgonda: Minister for Animal Husbandry Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Wednesday said TRS candidate Nomula Bhagath’s victory in the by-election to Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency would be a cake-walk.
“There is an overwhelming response from voters to Bhagat’s campaign of Bhagath. TRS leaders, who are campaigning for Bhagath, are getting positive response from the people of the Assembly constituency,” he said.
Stating that party workers and leaders should work hard for the TRS candidate’s victory, the Minister said the people of the constituency do not believe the false claims of Congress leaders during their elections campaign. “TRS leaders should ensure that all the voters exercise their franchise in the by-poll,” he added.
Nalgonda MLA and party in-charge for Gurrampode mandal Kancherla Bhupal Reddy said the public response to the campaign was a clear indication of the huge margin of victory that Bhagath can expect. “Nagarjuna Sagar Assembly constituency witnessed significant development in the last six and half years. During the earlier Congress rule in undivided Andhra Pradesh, the tail-end areas of left canal were denied irrigation facility. But now, these same areas are getting irrigation facility for two crops,” he added.
