Hyderabad: Financial District, Gachibowli, has a new swanky casual dining space, BigStar Café. While handcrafted coffees and artisanal bakes are Big Star Cafe’s USP, founder Thulsi Ram ensures the cafe spells excellence in quality and taste across its wide spread menu.
With contemporary setting, spacious indoor and outdoor seating, live counters to hand brew coffees and create specialised desserts, it has elaborate coffee menu made out of carefully selected coffee from the estates of Chikmangalur and Ratnagiri, a press release said.
The food menu includes flavoursome salads, classics like the cream chantilly, smoothie bowls, pastas, pizzas and risottos that gain their flavour from the best of the ingredients used, the café said.
Having worked as an assistant director in the two Telugu films, Thulsi Ram, travelled and explored many cafes across the world to understand how they run.
“I have arrived at the menu after a lot of research and interacting with several cuppers, farmers and visiting many coffee machine companies and studying how other coffee shops work and what kind of menu people like,” he says.
He opened another Indian Food Restaurant Kritaa Nagar, adjacent to BigStar Café, and is planning to expand across India.
