Hyderabad: Unidentified persons barged into a birthday party and created a ruckus by abusing and attacking people at a community hall in Laxminagar of Nampally around midnight on Monday.
Police said a group of people suddenly entered the premises, even as the function was underway and objected over playing music at high volume.
“The suspects picked up an argument with the family members and guests and threatened them. They also attacked them, resulting in injuries to elders and children too,” police said.
Based on a complaint, the Nampally police booked a case and took up investigation.
A local identified as Ahmed had collected Rs 12,000 and gave the community hall on rent, police said.
Efforts are on to identify and nab the suspects.
