Bison FC beats Bolarum FC to win GFC football tournament

Bison FC defeated Bolarum FC 3-0 to win the Garden Football Club’s Ugadi one-day seven-a-side football tournament, with Avinash scoring twice, as winners and runners-up were awarded cash prizes at Bolarum Cantonment Ground

Hyderabad: Bison FC defeated Bolarum FC 3-0 in the final of the Garden Football Club (GFC) one-day prize money seven-a-side football tournament at Bolarum Cantonment Ground here on Thursday as part of Ugadi celebrations.

Avinash scored two goals and Abhijeet scored one for the winners. The winner received Rs 15,000 and the runner-up Rs 10,000. Dr Narsimhan Kannan sponsored the event.


Mr Narender Poosa, Mr Ravi Kumar, Circle Inspector, Bolarum, and former India captain Victor Amalraj gave away the prizes.

The result: Final: Bison FC bt Bolarum FC 3-0.
