Hyderabad: Oracle Swarnalatha warned Telangana of natural disasters and human tragedies this year.
During the traditional held as part of Bonalu festivities at Ujjaini Mahakali temple, here on Monday, the oracle said Telangana could experience deluge and fire mishaps, with heavy human loss reported.
Standing on an earthen pot for the ritualistic Rangam, Swarnalatha in her trance and speaking for mother goddess said, “I am not happy and am expressing anguish. Why should I answer you (devotees). You are not implementing what you assured me.”
When Ujjaini Mahakali temple head priest Venugopal Sharma asked the oracle about what was foretold this year, the oracle did not respond for a few minutes. He then asked her the reason for remaining calm to his query.
She said the devotees assured her regarding the installation of a idol two months ago, but it did not happen. The priest said some people were creating a hurdle for the installation. The oracle said she would take care of the people who were creating hurdles.
Regarding predictions, the oracle Swarnalatha said that this year Telangana would see deluge as well as fire accidents and heavy human loss. She advised the priest to control arrogance and said she was unsatisfied with the attitude.
