BPharmacy course back in demand in Telangana

Hyderabad: This academic year, Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) programme has emerged as one of the most sought-after professional courses, with 96 per cent of the seats being filled across pharmacy colleges in the State.
As per the TG EAPCET 2025 final phase counselling details released here on Tuesday, while government and university colleges have recorded 100 per cent admissions, private colleges reported 96 per cent admissions to BPharmacy programme. A total of 8,908 seats under convener quota were available in 124 colleges and 8,560 (96.09 per cent) have been allotted to students.
As for Pharm D programme, 74 colleges reported near-full admissions, with 99.35 per cent being filled out of 1,682 seats. All the seats in biomedical engineering and bio-technology programmes have been filled in the final phase of seat allotment, released on Tuesday. However, only six out of 116 seats in the pharmaceutical engineering programme went vacant.
This time, 71,309 candidates qualified in the entrance test, only 16,336 attended certificate verification, and 15,192 exercised web options for seats allotment. Overall, 96.67 per cent out of 10,960 seats that were up for grabs via the TG EAPCET 2025 BiPC counselling have been allotted.
Those students who received seat allotment must self-report online on or before October 22, and physically report at the allotted college by October 23. The provisionally allotted seats automatically stand cancelled if candidates fail to self-report online or report at allotted college on or before the deadline.
