Hyderabad: Fans want to see Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor on screen for a reason. Soon after the poster of the upcoming movie ‘Brahmastra’ was launched, fans expressed their love for the couple Alia and Ranbir. The actors who have been dating each other for quite some time now are coming together sharing screen space for the film.
Directed by Ayan Mukherji, the film also features Akkineni Nagarjuna, Amitabh Bachchan, Dimple Kapadia among others in key roles. The drama is slated for release next year on September 9.
The motion poster of the film has Ranbir’s voice that says that some power in the universe is out of human beings’ understanding. Alia’s voice is heard in the background as she asks why he is only able to see such things. “Who are you, Shiva?” Subsequently, Ranbir is introduced with the Trishul in his hand projecting him as an avatar of the Lord Shiva.
A superhero film, ‘Brahmastra’ is being jointly produced by Fox Star Studios and Dharma Productions. Although the film is due for release on December 4, the makers postponed the release for the next year due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
