BRS criticises CM Revanth Reddy for blaming KCR over Congress’s failures, but taking credit for achievements
He compared Revanth Reddy's rhetoric to Indira Gandhi's infamous "foreign hand" claims, which were used to justify the Congress government's failures at the time. "The Chief Minister is making a mockery of himself by blaming his predecessor for everything that goes wrong," he said.

Hyderabad: Former Minister S Niranjan Reddy launched a broadside against Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, for making it a daily habit to blame former Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao and the BRS government for the failures of the Congress government. However, he pointed out that the Chief Minister was shameless taking credit for the former Chief Minister’s good work.
He likened Revanth Reddy‘s rhetoric to Indira Gandhi’s infamous “foreign hand” allegations for the then Congress government’s failures. “The Chief Minister was making a mockery of himself by attributing everything wrong to his predecessor,” he said.
Speaking to mediapersons at Telangana Bhavan on Monday, Niranjan Reddy pointed out that the Chief Minister merely relaunched projects initiated during Chandrashekhar Rao‘s tenure instead of announcing new developments. He charged Revanth Reddy with lacking basic information about these projects and called such actions a disgrace to the office of the Chief Minister.
The BRS leader compared Revanth Reddy’s tactics to the BJP leaders who discredit Mahatma Gandhi and Jawaharlal Nehru while having no role in the freedom movement, stating that attempting to tarnish Chandrashekhar Rao’s legacy would not succeed. He stated that Wanaparthy witnessed a major transformation in the last 10 years, by sanctioning medical and nursing colleges, JNTU engineering college, BC Residential Agriculture Women’s College, roads, and double-bedroom houses, among others under the BRS government.
Mocking Revanth Reddy’s claim that he would complete the Jurala project, Niranjan Reddy reminded him that the project was finished 14 years ago. He charged Revanth Reddy with using uncivilised language that tarnished Telangana’s reputation. He demanded that the Chief Minister apologise to the people of Wanaparthy for his remarks mocking the formation of Wanaparthy district.
