Khammam: BRS leader Anugula Rakesh Reddy has launched the ‘Rakesh Reddy E-Classes App’, a platform designed by him for students and unemployed youth preparing for Central and State government jobs.
The app was launched here on Thursday by former Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, former MP Nageswara Rao along with Rakesh Reddy. The BRS leaders commended Rakesh Reddy for understanding the challenges faced by the youth, designing the app and making it available completely free of cost to underprivileged students.
Ajay Kumar stated that even after two-and-a-half years in power, the Congress government had failed to fulfil even a single promise made under its ‘Youth Declaration’ during the election campaign in the presence of Priyanka Gandhi.
Further, the Congress government was misleading the unemployed youth by claiming credit for the jobs provided by the previous BRS government. The youth should make the best use of ‘Rakesh Reddy E-Classes App designed for their benefit, he said.
Rakesh Reddy explained that the app was meant for poor students who could not afford to attend coaching classes, pay tuition fee or bear hostel expenses. He pointed out that the Congress government, which had promised to fill two lakh job vacancies within its very first year, had failed to do so while during the BRS tenure, recruitment for police jobs was conducted every two years.
Meanwhile, Nageswara Rao stated that Rakesh Reddy was a highly educated person who understood the struggles and hardships faced by unemployed youth. He called on the youth to exert pressure on the government to ensure filling up of at least one lakh jobs in the next two years.
Former MLAs Thati Venkateswarlu and Bollam Mallayya Yadav, senior BRS leaders RJC Krishna and Bachu Vijay Kumar, BRS town president Pagadala Nagaraju and a large number of unemployed youth participated in the programme.
