BRS leader Manne Krishank questioned by police over Miss England posts
The party's media convener appears before Rajendranagar police for questioning over posts related to Miss England, Milla Magee. The case follows a Congress leader's complaint. Krishank calls the probe politically motivated, marking his 23rd legal case
The case stems from Krishank sharing newspaper reports on X, highlighting alleged misconduct by certain individuals towards Magee during the recently concluded Miss World pageant in Hyderabad.
The Rajendranagar police registered a case against him following a complaint by Faheem Qureshi, a Congress leader. In response, Krishank questioned the basis of the complaint, stating on X, “Did I name Faheem Qureshi in my tweet?”
He emphasised that his posts merely shared published reports about Milla Magee’s sudden exit from the beauty pageant. Krishank received a police summons to appear for questioning, prompting his visit to the station.
The BRS leader has faced multiple cases in recent months — this being the 23rd — many of them related to his social media activity. He has described these actions as politically motivated and aimed at silencing dissent.
