Hyderabad: With Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) set to celebrate its 25th anniversary grandly on April 27, party working president KT Rama Rao is all set to embark on a Statewide tour to hold preparatory meetings with key leaders and activists from each district and mobilise the party cadres.
As part of the silver jubilee celebrations, a major preparatory meeting was already conducted at Telangana Bhavan under the leadership of party president K Chandrashekhar Rao. The party has announced a massive public meeting in Warangal, expected to witness a turnout of lakhs.
Accordingly, Rama Rao will visit every district, not only to strengthen the party, but also to target the Congress government for failing to fulfill its promises to Telangana’s people. He will chair meetings with the Suryapet cadre on March 20 and Karimnagar leaders on March 23, followed by a full-fledged State tour after the Assembly budget session.
During these meetings, BRS will strengthen its deep-rooted connection with Telangana, built over 14 years of the Statehood movement and 10 years of governance.
Rama Rao will interact with the party cadre. Despite setbacks, he will explain how BRS remains the people’s choice, while the Congress government faces growing public dissatisfaction.
His tour aims to reinvigorate party workers and set the course for an aggressive political campaign.
