Candidate who lost in panchayat polls arrested for abusing elector in Adilabad
Police in Adilabad arrested defeated panchayat candidate Kamble Sathish for allegedly abusing a trader and causing communal tensions in Indervelli mandal headquarters. A case was registered based on Deepak’s complaint, and an investigation was launched.

Adilabad: A candidate, who was defeated by his opponent in panchayat polls in the first phase, was arrested on the charges of abusing an elector for not casting his vote in his favor and causing communal tensions in Indervelli mandal headquarters on Saturday.
Police said that Kamble Sathish was apprehended for allegedly scolding Deepak Singh Shekawath, a trader over the phone after being defeated in polls to Indervelli panchayat, which led to communal tensions in Indervelli mandal headquarters.
A case was registered against Sathish based on a complaint received from Deepak and an investigation was launched.
Sathish was accused of threatening traders from Indervelli, saying he would thrash them and demolish their business establishments using earth movers.
