Hyderabad: With plans to reopen Yadadri Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple at the earliest, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Friday instructed the officials concerned to complete the remaining works as per schedule.
Reviewing the progress of works at Pragathi Bhavan here, the Chief Minister said the entire temple was renovated with Krishna Sila (black stone) and would be known for its uniqueness. “Once the temple is reopened, devotees will turn up in lakhs. Measures should be in place to ensure that they don’t face any difficulties,” he said.
The Chief Minister discussed the precautionary measures to be taken while executing the remaining works and the action plan to give an ornamental look to the temple. He, during a recent visit to the temple, had inspected all the works and hinted at the possibility of reopening the temple in May.
Chandrashekhar Rao was very particular about the construction, arrangements and decoration of queue lines. Specific instructions were issued to officials to deck up the 350-ft-long queue lines using brass designs. He finalised one model among the four designs of the Kalash (metal pots) to be placed along the queue lines.
