Change triggers progress, growth

Change is the mantra for survival. Any change, be it small or big, is for the better, al- ways brings discomfort in the beginning. We fear change because it pushes us into a state of uncer- tainty. “Survival of the fittest” is a phrase taken from Charles Darwin’s book “On the origin of species”, as a mechanism of natural selection that forms the basis of the evolution of life.
It states that it is not the strongest of the species nor the most intelligent organism that survives, but the ones that are responsive to the change. We need to adapt ourselves according to the changing environment. Suppose, if it’s rain- COVID VACCINE ing, we would prefer to wear a raincoat while going out or stay at home.

The same applies to the pandemic situation now. Change itself is constant. It triggers progress and brings growth in one’s life. We should always be open to the changes happening around us. If we don’t change ourselves according to the changing circumstances, our existence is not possible. For at any moment, we have two options, to step forward to- wards growth or step back and search for excuses to defend the situation.
As the saying goes “Do not cry over spilled milk “. We just can’t sit back and cry over the situation which has already risen. So, we now need to pull up the rabbit out of its hat and come out with remedies to triumph over this pandemic. We need to constantly keep working to improve ourselves to fit into the change best. We need to gear up, work for ourselves and society. Be sympathetic to the weaker section of society and help the needy and poor. Overcoming the new challenges will make us stronger and ‘Atmanirbhar’ in the true sense.
