CM KCR consoles Chennur MLA
The Chief Minister visited the MLA’s house in Regunta and paid floral tributes to Balka Suresh.

Jagitial: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao consoled Chennur MLA Balka Suman and his family members in Regunta of Metpalli mandal on Wednesday on the death of the latter’s father.
Suman’s father and former chairman of Metpalli Market Committee Balka Suresh died of Covid while undergoing treatment in a private hospital in Hyderabad on May 28.
The Chief Minister visited the MLA’s house in Regunta and paid floral tributes to Suresh. Chandrashekhar Rao, who reached Regunta by road at 3.35 pm, left at 4.05 after spending half an hour with Suman and his family members.
Later, interacting with the District Collector G Ravi, the Chief Minister enquired about the Covid situation in the district. The Collector informed him that Covid cases had declined drastically due to imposition of lockdown. He also informed that the lockdown was being implemented strictly in the district.
Welfare Minister Koppula Eashwar, Peddapalli MP B Venkatesh Netha, Rajyasabha MPs Joginipalli Santhosh Kumar and KR Suresh Reddy, MLAs K Vidhyasagar Rao, Dr M Sanjay Kumar, Sunke Ravishankar, Dasari Manohar Reddy, Korukanti Chander, A Jeevan Reddy, Zilla Parishad chairpersons Dava Vasantha (Jagitial), Putta Madhukar (Peddapalli) and Nalla Bhagyalaxmi (Mancherial) were present.
Earlier, North Zone IG Y Nagireddy, Karimnagar Police Commissioner VB Kamalasan Reddy, Collector G Ravi, Superintendent of Police Sindhu Sharma inspected the security arrangements for the Chief Minister’s visit.
