Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday said the Telangana government would strive for the welfare of Veerashaiva-Lingayats in the State.
Conveying greetings to them on the occasion of Mahatma Basaveshwara Jayanthi, he said Basaveshwara, who was a progressive philosopher, advocated that every human being is equal, irrespective of caste and creed.
