Hyderabad: The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) has demanded Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy to tender an apology to oustees of the Musi River project before seeking suggestions from Opposition parties over their rehabilitation.
Nayini Anurag Reddy, a BRS supporter and entrepreneurm, posted on X: “Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is now asking Opposition parties to come up with an Action Plan for the Musi victims, who are losing their homes. He also clearly tells that every single day is crucial for the victims… Chief Minister garu, without knowing what to do with them or having an action plan, how and why did you demolish their houses? Especially when you know every single day is crucial for them…” he asked.
“After the press meet, it became clear that your government had no action plan, no estimation of the after-effects, yet you went ahead with demolishing the homes of the poor. Before asking for suggestions or an Action Plan from the Opposition, Chief Minister garu must issue an unconditional apology to the people of Telangana for creating absolute chaos & disorder…” Anurag Reddy said.Similarly, sharing a video clip of the Chief Minister explaining about Meinhardt company’s performance, BRS social media convenor Manne Krishank pointed out that Revanth Reddy was defending hard for a private company, “which was absconding from Pakistan”.
“CMO intervenes that CM Revanth is wrong and Meinhardt did not construct it. Government or circus…?” he asked. Krishank also shared videos of Revanth Reddy’s speech at Gopanpally, where he had announced the Musi beautification project, clearly mentioning the cost as Rs.1.5 lakh crore, alongside Thursday’s press conference visuals, where Revanth Reddy ridiculed the Opposition asking from where did they get the figure of Rs.1.5 lakh crore.
