Colleagues extend support to bereaved families of constables in Siddipet

Since the two constables, Pusala Venkateshwarlu and Varukolu Parandhamulu, died in the accident were working in Thoguta circle, the police personnel working under the circle joined hands under the leadership of Gajwel ACP Purusottam Reddy and mobilised Rs.3 lakh. They handed over Rs 1.5 lakh each to the two families on Wednesday.

Siddipet: The Siddipet police came to the support of the families of two constables who died in a road accident on December 8 near Gajwel.

Since the two constables, Pusala Venkateshwarlu and Varukolu Parandhamulu, died in the accident were working in Thoguta circle, the police personnel working under the circle joined hands under the leadership of Gajwel ACP Purusottam Reddy and mobilised Rs.3 lakh. They handed over Rs 1.5 lakh each to the two families on Wednesday.

ACP Purosttam Reddy, Inspector Lathif and others met the family members of Venkateshwarlu at Gadicherlapally in Siddipet mandal and handed over Rs.1.5 lakh to them. Later, they proceeded to Pedda Kodur in Chinna Kodur mandal and gave Rs 1.5 lakh to the family members of Parandhamulu. The ACP assured them that the department would take care of their well-being.
