Karimnagar: District Collector RV Karnan inspected the venue of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao’s public meeting near Shalapalli in Huzurabad mandal on Tuesday.
The Chief Minister will launch the Telangana Dalit Bandhu in Huzurabad on August 16. The collector, accompanied by Commissioner of Police V Satyanarayana, visited the meeting spot and reviewed the arrangements.
Speaking on the occasion, Karnan instructed the officials to make elaborate arrangements for the Chief Minister’s programme and arrange dais and separate galleries for VIPs, press, beneficiaries and public. Separate galleries should also be arranged for print and electronic media. He directed the officials to cover the dais with waterproof shamiyanas since it was rainy season.
He wanted the police officials to take all possible measures to avoid traffic jams and arrange separate parking for VIPs. Officials should ensure that the buses, which would bring beneficiaries to the meeting spot, should be parked in the slats allocated to them.
Additional Collector GV Shyamprassad Lal, SC Welfare Officer Nethniyal, SC Corporation Executive Director Madhusudan Sharma, District Agriculture Officer Veerabuchaiah, District Industrial Officer Naveen Kumar, and Huzurabad RDO Ravinder Reddy were present.
