Congress workers brutally attacked the BRS workers at Allapadu of Bonakal mandal while they were taking a victory rally, on the pretext of vermilion powder being spilled on Congress workers.

Wyra MLA Ramdas Naik lured voters with promises of Indiramma houses even as the election code was in effect and when the newly elected sarpanch of Thigalabanjara respectfully met him, the MLA forcibly draped the Congress scarf around his neck, the leaders complained.

After the gram panchayat elections, in Jinkalagudem of Raghunadhapalem mandal in Khammam constituency, Congress workers targeted and attacked BRS workers.

The police should remain impartial and stop acting as puppets of Congress leaders. False cases filed against BRS workers should be withdrawn immediately, they demanded.

BRS Khammam city party president Pagadala Nagaraju, Mudigonda mandal president Vachepalli Lakshmareddy, Wyra constituency leaders Muthyala Venkatappa Rao, Potla Srinivasa Rao and Madhira mandal leader Chava Venubabu were present.
