Kothagudem: Paloncha-based Nava Limited, as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities, constructed a compound wall and wash rooms at Mandal Parishad Primary School and Primary High School in Tadikalapudi in the district.

The facility was inaugurated by Yellandu MLA Koram Kanakaiah Friday. Speaking on the occasion the MLA appreciated the programmes being carried out by Nava Limited for the development of the society.


Explaining the educational programmes being carried out in various government schools for the last four decades by the company, Kanakaiah urged the students studying in government schools to take advantage of the opportunities to reach higher levels in life.

The school headmistress Sujatha said that Nava Limited has made a lot of efforts in providing basic facilities for the development of the school. The company general manager (CSR) MGM Prasad explained about the health, education and livelihood programmes of the company.

In another programme later in the day at Mylaram, Kothagudem RDO, D Madhu inaugurated the 26th safe drinking water plant set up by Nava Limited as part of its CSR initiatives. The water plant would be useful in preventing waterborne diseases and asked the villagers to make proper use of the facility, the RDO said. He appreciated various community service programmes being carried out by Nava Limited.

Nava Limited DGM Srihari Reddy, chief liaison officer V Khadarendra Babu, officials N Satyanarayana, N Srinivasa Rao, civil engineer Ashok, Krishna Rao, government officials and villagers in large numbers participated in the programmes.
